Book Proposal

I am organizing an anthology about mefloquine that would include the history of the drug and the science behind its creation, efficiency, benefits and side effects. I also want to include personal stories of affected individuals that span all countries where mefloquine has been prescribed, all governmental services (military, volunteer, etc) that provided the drug, and any civilians affected that were prescribed a quinoline for work or travel.

The book is intended to reach a large audience to inform mefloquine toxicity victims about their symptoms and assure them that they are not alone. I want to increase membership to the Mefloquine International Action Network groups that fight for rights and awareness about quinolines and the side effects. I hope to expand the number of allies and advocates for reparations.

Mefloquine has been called "the next Agent Orange" and is another scar on the history of countries treating their military, service workers, and lives of civilians as inferior, expendable, and sacrificial test subjects. I believe that with enough exposure we can create a voice for the sufferers and bring attention to their circumstances and needs.

If you are interested in contributing to the book, please email your idea, a sample of your writing, and/or your chapter to action@mefaction.com . Submissions for the book proposal will only be used after your consent and I will keep all contributors informed about the progress.Â
